AI2 announces OLMo, an New Open Generative Language Model

One of the biggest concerns about AI is how it is rapidly developing without suitable understanding or safeguards. Now Seattle’s Allen Institute for AI (AI2) is creating an open generative language model “by scientists, for scientists.” The initiative will benefit the research community, as well as the public, by providing access and education to all aspects of the model, including its development, implementation and use.
